Both Farmington Softball and Baseball teams completed successful seasons on the diamond during the 21-22 school year. Both teams were conference champions and advanced deep into post season play.
In Coach Jason Shirey's first season at the helm of the softball cardinals, they boasted an 18-8 record. They were 1-AAAA conference regular season champions, 1-AAAA District Tournament runners-up and the AAAA North Regional Tournament runners-up. For his coaching performance, Shirey was named the 1-AAAA conference all-star coach nominee.
Many of the Lady Cardinals received post season honors. Senior Remington Adams was named all-state, all-state tournament, AHSCA all-star nominee, and all-conference. Senior Grace Boatright was named all-state, AHSCA all-star nominee, and all-conference. Kamryn Uher was picked all-conference and chosen for the Arkansas Softball Junior Showcase. Justine Davidson, Morgan Uher, Bella Hulsey, and Reece Shirey were also all chosen for all-conference honors.
Coach Jay Harper's baseball team finished as 1-AAAA conference champions and also 1-AAAA District Tournament champions. Coach Harper recorded his 300th career victory and was named 1-AAAA conference coach of the year.
Seniors Trey Hill and Miles Harvey were both named all-state and all-conference. Harvey was also named to the all-state tournament team. Chase Brown, Caden Elsik, Case Enderland, Michael White, Lawson DeVault, and Westin Sills were all named all conference for their outstanding play on the diamond.
