Farmington senior Taylor Conran earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36. Less than .025% of all students who take the ACT earn that score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2022, only 3,376 out of 1.34 million earned a top score of 36.
The ACT consists of tests in English, math, reading, and science. Each is scored on a scale of 1-36, with the composite score being the average of the four scores.
"We are so proud of Taylor and his accomplishment," said Farmington High School Principal Jon Purifoy. "He is a shining example of hard work and dedication to academics."
Taylor is the son of Matt and Lori Conran. He is also a returning all-conference football player for the Cardinals. Congratulations to him and this great accomplishment.
