This Sunday, January 9th, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. To honor our Farmington Police Officers, Farmington Athletics held a police appreciation night at Cardinal Arena during the basketball games vs Harrison last Friday night. At halftime of the girl’s game all officers in attendance were recognized and School Resource Officers Dylan Crutchfield and Jimmy Brotherton were given a special gift from Superintendents Jon Laffoon and Stephanie Pinkerton for their service to Farmington Schools.
Mr. Laffoon states, “In Farmington our officers wear the uniform because they are here to help. Everyone involved in law enforcement from our SRO’s to the officers on patrol are vital to the safety of our school and community. We believe in them and know that they are here to help us. Though we cannot thank them enough, we wanted to honor their service to our district and community tonight.”
