home of champions

Over the past five years, Farmington High School has established itself as a powerhouse in Arkansas high school athletics. Nestled in the heart of Northwest Arkansas and competing in the highly competitive 5A West Conference, the Farmington Cardinals have achieved a level of success that is nothing short of remarkable — and unmatched.

From 2020 to 2025, Farmington Athletics has amassed six state championships and six state runner-up finishes, a testament to the school’s relentless pursuit of excellence across a wide range of sports. Even more impressively, the Cardinals have claimed an astounding 17 conference championships during this span, showing consistent dominance at the regional level.

Whether on the gridiron, the court, the diamond, or the track, the Cardinals have demonstrated what it means to be champions. Farmington's diverse athletic program includes:

  • Football

  • Golf

  • Cross Country

  • Tennis

  • Cheer

  • Dance

  • Basketball

  • Baseball

  • Softball

  • Soccer

  • Track

And they’re not done yet. Looking ahead, Farmington plans to expand its athletic program even further by adding wrestling for the 2025–2026 school year — a clear signal that the Cardinals are committed to giving student-athletes every opportunity to compete and excel.

This level of success is rare — especially for a 5A school — and speaks volumes about the strength of Farmington’s coaches, athletes, and community support. It’s no surprise that the Cardinals are becoming known as "The Home of Champions."

In Farmington, excellence isn’t just an expectation — it’s a tradition. And if the last five years are any indication, the best may be yet to come.
