Williams Elementary's "Soup'er Bowl Drive" was a huge success, gathering an impressive 3,028 food items last week! These donations will make a positive impact in our community as we deliver them to two local food banks. A big thank you to everyone for your generosity, and a special congratulations to Ms. Sanders' class for winning the competition with a total of 660 donated items! 🥫🏆

"Blakely took it upon herself to get up and help a student that previously had a major meltdown over completing an assignment. Her willingness to step in to help an emotionally charged student gave a sense of peace and calmness." - Mrs. Melnicki "We were lining up for lunch and Coleman got my lunch, water, and phone for me all on his own accord." - Mrs. Higgins "Grace, I’m so proud of you for your behavior in music the last two weeks. You are doing so good." - Mr. Cook

A group of Williams Elementary EAST students got hands-on with environmental learning today! With the help of Isaac Ogle from Comprehensive Botanical Services, they spread wildflower seeds in the solar array behind the school and discussed the advantages of native plants in nature. In May, we'll start to see these wildflowers blossom, all thanks to their efforts. Big thanks to Isaac and Entegrity for dropping by Williams Elementary – our students had a great time! 🌿🌼

Introducing the Jerry “Pop” Williams Pet Stars! Hi everyone, We are EAST students at JPW and we are hoping to find homes for shelter dogs. We went to the Fayetteville Animal Services shelter and picked out Hattie and Taylor to be our JPW Pet Stars! Hattie is a playful little girl and Taylor is energetic! They have been at the shelter for a few weeks now. Taylor loves to jump and play outside, but she gets tired after a while. Hattie likes to run around and play, she doesn’t really jump, but she gets nervous in new places. Please contact Fayetteville Animal Services and adopt one of these dogs, or even both! 🐶Thank you for reading our post! Ellie, Paige, and Claire

Kinder fun in Mrs. Barber's class! Today, they played with words—every student got a letter, listened for their sound, and together built the word. Teamwork in action! 🔠🙌 #JPWElementary #Cardstudentsareworthit

Yesterday was "Tell Me Something Good Tuesday," and we're sharing some of the good things being said about students and teachers here at Williams. Here are a couple of students who were recognized yesterday! "Steven, you are such a good friend, and such a joy to have in my classroom. You are honest and kind! Keep being you :)" - Mrs. Willard "Charlie, I love your attitude. You are always so kind and loving." - Mrs. Wood

Today some of our Folsom and Williams Elementary EAST students came together at Folsom to dive into planning for the upcoming EAST Conference. From introductions to exploring creative booth themes, students embraced the professionalism of a meeting, demonstrating attentive listening and respect for one another – just like "Mom and Dad" in the workplace. #JPWElementary #folsom #Cardstudentsareworthit
